Wow, that's a winner. Classic, higher-end Trek, awesome colors. Cyclone and Campy looks like. Brakes alone worth $200.
Hole it wasn't ridden with the seatpost only inserted a bit. Check for seatlug cracks if you look at it.

Never heard of this brand before, but I love the paint scheme. That cool faded black-ano stem looks like it'd put the bars in the right place for a drop bar conversion, netting you some nice Deore 6 speed thumbies in the process. New tires too.

There are **things about this bike to lead me to believe that it's actually what's called "bicicletta gentiluomo" or what the English & Dutch would refer to as a "Popular" that's been enameled over, festooned a Fossati logo & plunked down on a set of track wheels.
The eccentric bottom bracket, headset design and the breakaway stays are all reminiscent of early-mid 20th c town bikes fitted with a front rod brake and a coasterbrake rear. A design feature that you can see in the Raleigh DL1 right up to the beginning of the 80s.

I know 'nuttin' and only curious. Supposedly Mauro Fossati was born in 1916... so doing quick math tells me it unlikely this was made in the 1920's. Fossati was also at some time the head mechanic for Coppi and team. Neat stuff anyways.
