Hurtu Randonneuse for sale in Belgium: https://www.2dehands.be/fietsen/fiet...401943103.html

I actually saw the bike at a C&V event some five years ago, and while the restoration is not quite to my taste, it's still a Hurtu, with some cool parts.

Phone pics from 2013:

Worth it just for the Sante bits. The brakes, headset (but is that a Dura Ace HS??) and derailleurs look great. The shifters and cranks, a little less so.

This appears to be a PSV-10,but the guy has the bottom bracket with a Peugeot spindle and japanese english threaded cups. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Peu...97.m4902.l9144 Wonder if the bottom bracket is okay, as this model PSV-10 has seatpost bolt in rear of seat lug and a hole to mount a Simplex derailleur. Based on PSV-10 timeline the threads should be swiss Any thoughts?

This bike is flirting with the proper definition of "unique," so maybe someone wants to take a stab at it. Split seattube Mercier TT bike. Huh. No kiddin'.

Bonus: Looks like you get barcons *and* DT shifters.

Fair warning: ad includes "serious collectors making serious offers only." But at least it's not a $400 Varsity.

Yeah, I wondered about that, the sketchy factor seems high.

Then again, I was thinking it might represent someone merging or (sadly) going out of business. I don't know if it matters that it's all new gear; that looks like what my bike shop has on the wall. He's selling gear with serial numbers that would have a last known location in the supply chain, on the open Internet, with pictures of his own dining room (is he going to load all this up to meet at a neutral location to show it? probably not), so who knows.

Based on the style of boxes, there's little of any particular value there, except to a repair shop--who isn't going to pay what s/he wants, for sure. Low level Shimano/SRAM/Tektro stuff, maybe a couple of Ultegra/XT pieces, but unlikely, given the rest of the collection.
