Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

As a cyclist that does both. I honestly don’t have a preference. I’m actually thinking about starting use vaseline. Cheap, easily accessible, impossible to get off, water proof. What could go wrong.

I am curious if this would solve my indoor riding hatrid. A. The trainer aggrevates my left knee for some reason. B. My comfort level on the trainer nears a -1 on a scale to 100. 100 being good.
Best Buy has exactly what you need: Saris MP1 Nfinity Trainer Platform Natural 9789t - Best Buy

My Kickr Bike has up/down movement and steering, but not side-to-side motion. It's still not fun.

We used to do long mtb rides with a lot of water crossings and lots of sand. Chains would start binding and skipping. I had used Chap Stick to try and resolve it and when I had sunscreen I used that. Finally remembered to bring a bottle of lube and a rag.

The good news, this hotel has a peloton. Which is the only indoor fake trainer I can tolerate. The bad news it only has clipless pedals and I didn’t bring my shoes.

WTF would they put those pedals on it. Are pelotonians so hardcore that when they travel they bring their peloton shoes?

I'm surprised Mr. Zogs hasn't jumped into the market.

That is by far the worst wax for surfing. It has to be a joke. Personally I am a sticky bumps fan.

I'm not a surfer, but it's been around for a long time.

At my age, the Dream Cream is probably the most fitting.

That link leads to Trey Anastasio pages. I must not get it.

But, I do get what you are saying.

"Irony" was probably not the right word.

Weird. I get the Trey page, too. Somehow the little electrons got their circuits crossed.

Yeah, irony is a word with a broad range of meanings. I just like being pedantic sometimes.

You have got NOTHING on the penman, rpenmanparker who used to be the resident pedant. I wonder if he will pop in to say happy holidays? That's about as likely as a visit from the bear.

Should we poke the bear?? I tried poking him on Strava, he did respond but was noncommittal about coming back to Addiction.
