Yesterday I got a shipment from China that I didn't remember ordering. It contained two tail lights and some weird thingy that converts a beverage bottle into a hookah. Huh? I remember ordering a headlight or two, so maybe they or I made a mistake about headlights and tail lights. It turns out I got what I ordered. I just don't remember. Well, the tail lights were only $3 each. I guess I wanted to see how good they are. Now I find that I ordered this stuff from a site on ebay, and it included an iphone screen protector. I must have tossed that in the garbage, wrapped up in packing materials. I better go through the garbage tonight.

Dura ace AX
The large bearing was designed to raise the fulcrum from below the pad of your foot (as per all other pedals) to the centre of your foot - it does feel different.

Yesterday I received a big brown box with a Ciocc inside. Details to follow in a separate thread, once built.

While were doing cranks. This turned out to be two tandem left cranks, not left and right tandem rear cranks as I anticipated. If Id squinted hard enough at the second listing photo Id have known. Theyre still ok for my purpose and Ive messaged the seller to find out if he has the right sides.Check out SAKAE decal but SUNTOUR on the back side

The matching front derailleur was supposed to be here last Friday, but USPS decided to return it to the sender instead.

Wait a minute. northbend != Bob Freeman, CR denizen, formerly proprietor of Elliott Bay Cycles? I'm having a rather bad BF day. (First I can't properly count to seven, now I confuse two vintage bike peeps from the same small Seattle suburb.) How many vintage bike types are there in North Bend, WA? Google tells me the population is less than 7,000. This guy is who I bought my seatpost from (well, I think it is...):

New Old Paramount Gloves
I had this exact gloves when they first came out. I worked in a Schwinn Bike Shop at the time; (I miss that employee discount these days!). I'm glad I found then since I love the way they fit.
