This was my first steel bike. An old Giant I converted to a fixie. Then I had my first grade students paint it for me.
Then I traded my aluminum Trek 1000 for this Surly Crosscheck.
I needed another fixie, so I found an old Medici touring frame and built this. Ultimate fg commuter bike. Also painted by first graders.
Finally, I had lots of parts left over from two fixed gear conversions so I needed a platform upon which to use them. So I found a frame/fork + random parts and built up this Miyata One-Ten.
Then I traded my aluminum Trek 1000 for this Surly Crosscheck.

Ok, here's mine ... see photos.
I'll also add this. When I got Machak, he had a carbon fork, carbon seatpost, and carbon crankarms. When I decided to tour Australia, I exchanged the carbon fork for steel. When I was packing to go to Australia, we discovered that my carbon seatpost had shattered, so it was changed for aluminum. And last Christmas my carbon crankarms were exchanged for the ones I've got on now. There is no more carbon on Machak.
