Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I always wondered but where is your profile pic from? I know I have seen it somewhere.

I'm pretty sure you can just select all of the options.

I think he's embellishing. May be too ashamed to admit he was a former hair stylist for Nicholas Cage.

Construction super is adult daycare. Hah. Anybody that's ever worked on a big project has seen that. I was an Industrial Carpenter for 12 years, now (with wife and kids) work as a HVAC/R tech/installer.

resto management but interesting that more than a quarter of respondents fall into the "engineering" category. explains the occasionally wild and snipey road cycling forum threads.

Other big sectors missing: Banking & Finance, Arts & Entertainment....

My sector is often missing from these lists: Architect. Hotels more than anything. Have done a bit of casino, retail, F&B, entertainment, office and residential, too.

If I include what I've been trained in (degrees, etc.) and what I've done in the past as well as what I do now, I could select everything but Law ... and even with that one, I've taken several Law courses.

Retired from the military after 24 years. Now I spend my days riding my bike, hiking with my dog and babysitting my four y/o grandbaby. He wants to be a dragon slayer when he grows up.

Good connectivity and skilled technology workforce, I think. They oftentimes refer to it as a "knowledge economy" here. However most of my work is done in the rest of the EU. I spent most of last year traveling back and forth to Sweden and the UK.
