I had the same question and someone on this forum suggested Imgur. (https://imgur.com/)
It is very easy to use and makes it easy to post pictures here. All you have to do is copy the BC code.

Photobucket used to be the go-to site for free picture storage. Then they instituted their policy against third-party access. That means they no longer allow you to post a URL for a pic from their site. Most of us have scrambled around and ended up on Flickr, Imgur, or Shutterfly. Same deal, though. You get the URL of the picture itself, not the web page the pic is on. Then you use the landscape icon to insert a hyperlink in your post.
You can attach the file by using the "Go Advanced" button and using the paper clip icon, but there is a limit to how big the pic can be and how much total space you're allowed for all of your attachments.
If you use the hyperlink method, please have some consideration to other forum users and size your pic when you store it, so that it will fit on a page. Posting huge pictures will make the width of the whole thread too wide to fit on a page.

I am new to the forum and as a stereotypical male, have not read the forum guides or instructions but haven’t had any issues. It has always been as simple as going advanced, hitting the attachment icon, dragging an image from Windows File explorer, hitting the upload button, previewing the image and posting.
I do know my way around cameras and editing though. I resize images for web and PC viewing by changing the resolution to 72 Pixels/Inch and the width height to a maximum of 1000 or 800 Pixels. I also save at High Quality, not maximum or use the save for web feature in my editing program. This should assure you don't exceed file size restrictions.
The images show original size in the posts. I haven’t tried showing images from my web hosting site but I assume it is similar to other forums I belong to.

Attaching a 3MB pic, just to test.
That seems to have worked, but I've probably eaten up a lot of my personal allotment of space. I'll remove it in a day or two.

But like many other forums, new users aren't typically allowed to post pics. However just upload your pic to a hosting site and write the URL in the plain text message of your post. Don't use the link tools or file upload tools. Might have to obfuscate the URL some. Remove the https:// or change "." to "dot". Be devious, use some initiative.
Usually about ten posts and a day or two after the tenth post and you'll be able to upload pics.
I think......................
You can ask in this sub-forum if you need to know https://www.bikeforums.net/forum-sug...er-assistance/

Given that, this thread is being moved to Forum Assistance.
