Hellbenders? Never heard of them until now, though they're amphibians. Cool.

My kid went to Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. There, the mascot is the Geoduck, pronounced gooey-duck. It's a molusk.

Ah, Columbus
Not my commute, but south of the city. "Not my job, man.".
Clintonville, OH has never had a problem with Kangaroo - Car collisions, but locals were outraged when the city removed this (unofficial) sign.

No, but the natives to the south prefer to call their city "Cincinnati".

Sign Machine doesn't have spell check, I guess. That reminds me, I should get a picture of the signs for Lane Road, Lane Avenue and Road Street.

Ooh, I pass a Strada Road often, so I should shoot that sign.

Avenue Road is a prominent thoroughfare in Toronto.
Here we have North Street and East Pass. The "North" and "East" are the street names, and have no relation to the direction relative to the center of town (such as E. Main or N. Blair).

Every day I ride on Camino Del Norte, which is generally a north/south road. To the west is another north/south road called Camino Del Sur. They bend around and meet at the top, so if you go far enough north on Camino Del Norte, eventually the road becomes Camino Del Sur and you're riding south.
And at the place where they meet, there's a street sign with both names; on the west side it says Camino Del Sur and on the east it says Camino Del Norte

^^^^^ OT, but wouldn't it be fun to ride a Ted Williams 531 Free Spirit on Ted Williams Pkwy?

I don't think it would be much fun to ride a free spirit anything anywhere...

Come to Boston - if you take 24 North from RI, and want to make it onto 95 North, you will need to take 93 SOUTH and drive NORTH WEST on it for a short bit in Randolph

One of my favourite street signs in town. Still haven't found the first and second best dressed streets

How does one dress a street?

Close up of the no-diving sign on a lagoon of Lake Natoma by US 50. I don’t dare Google any of this, the blot on my browser history would screw up my SEO and show me bizarre ads for a month.
