I prefer the "fake" Bob Roll (bobke strut). That is often some really funny stuff.

Watched, Drunken Master II today. Some of it was goofy. But I have to hand it Jackie Chan, he started making movies right off and went all out. The fight scenes were pretty spectacular in this one.

debating whether to ride on the road tomorrow. I really want to get outside and it would be nice to do my intervals on a hill. But a lot of the snow melted today and now it is freezing all over the roads :/

Been there. Typically I don't finish the end of the drive for a day or two for that reason. I get it low enough for the cars to clear.

I usually lose my mail box 1X/year. Went through a lot of work to prevent it and still got it trashed. So far I have made it through last year and this one. Even in the snowocolypse (snowtorious B.I.G.) - Chico-ville blizzard of tweny leven I have been OK so far. We'll see. It is usually a plow at 3am pushing back the drifts that takes it out. Luckily the city covers me and with 1 call you get a temporary box in place.

You know it's an issue when the city has a ton of temporary boxes made up and get them out to you within 24 hrs no questions asked.

This might be the funniest thing I've ever read in my life. This is what happens when the brits watch too much monty python. Someone please send this to EDR too. He'd get a kick out of it.

What sux about my boss being real sick, are the someones here who think they need to take over and run the place.
They let you know what's going on, what's going to happen, how things are going to be taken care of, etc.

Sometimes you just want to tell people to sit the F down and shut the F up. Our firm runs just fine without forced, ersatz leadership. Especially from self righteous turds.

someone trolled our local listserve proposing that the association and members buck up $5k for usada to do drug testing at our events. the following exchange, which is about email # 300, made me laugh:
_____
I think that it might be a good way to get media attention for the
sponsors. The $5k would probably get the teams involved into at least
local media. With all the stuff going on with Landis and Armstrong it
could be seen as a stand by local racers and sponsor to prove that we
are not all doping. Either way I think it would be a good bang for the
buck as far as advertising goes.
___

You'll get media attention all right, and the world will die laughing.
To people on the street, you guys are just a bunch of asses prancing around
in spandex and plastering yourselves with advertisements to look like pros.
They are not stupid, they know you are just a bunch of pretentious nobodies.
So go ahead now and convinced them that you are also a bunch of dopers.
