Ready for bed, but I'm waiting to take the Jeopardy online test at 8 PM. I won't make it on, but it'll be fun to try.
Watching Who Wants to be a Millionaire. First lady was brilliant and very fast. Second lady is a complete idiot. She didn't know a female knight was a dame (seriously? who doesn't know that) and didn't know that a retiree who heads south in the winter is a "snowbird".
Wow. How exactly do you make it on a show like that and not know two simple things like that?

As for the second one, wtf! Maybe it's b/c I'm from FL, but snowbird is super easy.

So Psimet's apparently in the Duh visiting Ricky Rat. One of the hillier (yes, I'm serious, quit your laughing) road races is on Saturday and we're over on the FB trying to convince him to man up and come play. We're even working out a deal to get him a bike, etc..
If you're FB friends with him, tell him to nut up.

Added in edit: I'm not in Facebook (and I hope that I never will have to do that), but anybody that is should feel free to cut and paste my message onto Psimet's "wall".

Speaking of Psimet I took a look at the tubular rim I pinch flatted. There's a bitten off over grown thumbnail size chunk missing from the bed of the rim. It came off with the tire. I'm thinking this is spalling related to the impact.
The shoulders of the rim have no marks. The rims don't appear to be out of true at all. And I ended up riding the wheels another 20+ miles that day.
I'm thinking nothing catastrophic will happen, but am open to input.
Based on the pics Bdop posted of rim cross sections I doubt the spalling would have made it to the inside of the rim.
Front wheel btw.

People who aren't up your butt about the British inbred doddering idiot pre Magna Carta throwbacks whose authority and stature is based on coming out of a specific womb?

I'm old enough to remember a lot of things ... the problem is I'm so old I can't remember a lot of things.

Finished up studying at work. Read a chapter well and skimmed a 2nd one. Will probably read the 2nd one again tomorrow.
I can see why people like having different books for this stuff. I'm already finding that I liked one source more for a few things and this more for others.
Time to catch the last train home!

Occasionally, I read a sport specific magazine such as Bicycling and etc. Today, I was reading Ski Magazine and they were providing "Tips from the Pros". In the section of skiing in the trees, tip number 1 was if you hit a tree it is going to hurt - brilliant. Occasionally is becoming less and less.

My foot looks like I wore a new blue sock and the dye washed off on it. Nice blueish tint.

Tiro!, Pelin pedi i lam edhellen!
On a side note, I got my KK RM yesterday and did my first session on it last night....very nice! Much better resistance than my old hand me down trainer.
I'd think it's almost inevitable in this age of multi media communication.

You know, actresses, sailors (Ellen MacArthur), runners (Kelly Holmes), etc.
