Is he supposed to look like that? It looks like the bike is too small if his elbows are flaring out like that. Or maybe it's just the angle of the picture.

It's the angle...plus his on the very edge of the saddle in that photo.

Whatever Cavendish is doing on the bike, it's obviously working for him. I imagine he's putting out well over a kilowatt in that photo.

i doubt it
edit: mayb if it's like the last lap/points lap or something, but even for a guy like him 1000W is probably only sustainable for ~15sec i wud imagine
cav might be a sprinter on the road, but not on teh track
