Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Before hitting "Post," ask yourself this: Does the series in my answer depict someone making a long journey to bury a friend's remains?

If no, then don't bother.

Pretty nice night out. The Moon and Venus are almost doing the Turkish flag.

It's still 60 degrees out there right now. It was an actual hot ride today, and I didn't bring enough water. When that happens, my feet tend to hurt a lot.

Lovely ride today. I didn't really feel alive until about an hour out, The Sunday ride is sacred though, so I went. And I enjoyed it. Even had a little rain.

Another sacred thing is the annual viewing of V for Vendetta during the week containing Guy Faux Day. A date with the wife. We just finished it.

You know what was classic? Best of the West. I'm gonna have to add an eBay search...
