Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Oh my. Looks like Best of the West might be tough to find. Did a lot of scrolling and didn't see any action.

This VHS looks good though:

Friday before last, the last Friday of October, I thought was my very last post-work ride of 2021. But then, last Friday, having finished up a Powerpoint for MY boss to show HIS boss, I nipped out early - though later than everyone else. Had a nice ride. Got back to the car before 6, but the sun had STILL fallen behind the hills. But it was lighting the clouds from underneath...

I got caught out after dark a bit tonight, and I don't even have to deal with time changes. We had some scattered clouds move in for the sunset

This VHS looks good though:

In 1983 I worked at a shop and we had a customer who was a member of the Lincoln owners club. He had a Mark III like the one pictured and an older Continental. Nice man and a great customer.
