Good news for me today, Fedex found my bike in Salt Lake City. It only took them 15 days to find it, but I'm just relieved they found it since it was the only bike that I could ship (all my other bikes have an integrated seatmast and can't fit in a case).

Nate, are you still in Big Bear? For how long?
I know there are shops that rent mountain bikes up there if you wanted to get some outside spinning in.

Thanks guys, I was starting to stress a little when I started adding up the replacement costs of the bike, case, shoes, pump, tools, etc. And since I only insured it for $500 (most you can do without requiring a sig)....heck the case is $250. I'll insure it properly from now on. I had become lazy about that since I've never had a single issue the past 2 years.

Big John, I'm back in TX, but I'll be out there the last week of March, then a Week in April, then a week or 2 in May. Good call about the MTB's, perhaps I'll just rent one instead of shipping my road bike.

Only if said drawer had sharp metal edges and you did it repeatedly.

Woke up with a bit of discomfort in my back. Stretched and I felt awesome. Then on the way to work I slipped on ice...
And my leg starting tingling while on the train and then hurt when I got off. Why can't I catch a break...

I need to start doing drugs. Like whatever this guy is on:

I am on a drug. It’s called Charlie Sheen. It’s not available. If you try it once, you will die. Your face will melt off and your children will weep over your exploded body.
More golden nuggets here:

The Redlands Classic race is in the beginning of April. Some of my friends are in and some others drive out there and do a ride up toward Big Bear and then watch some racing.
