Seems rare you ever see these pop up anymore, or maybe I'm just not looking frequently enough.
Anyway, if you work with cottered bikes and would love to have a 2-minute solution to press-out/press-in cotters, VAR07 in nearly mint condition (stickers still intact) on the 'bay right now. $150 OBO before shipping. I'd kick out an offer for $120, and it would put this well within value-versus-price territory. But I doubt it'll last very long at the current ask price.

I wouldn't bother mentioning it, but it's just such a handle, indispensable tool when you need it. It legitimately eclipses any other removal tool/method I've ever used.
Tempted to throw an offer out and donate it to one of my two nearby co-ops that's always pestering me to bring mine in, but I'd miss out on free parts bin picking if I did

This bike was on local (Philly) Craigslist for $100 bucks. I missed it by a few hours, sigh. Now I see that it is up on Ebay. It's badged a Sterling, which the internet says is early Bilenky, which makes sense for Philly. Certainly looks the part.

There are great deals here every once in a while--and this Trek would have actually fit me. Already sold, of course.

This PX-10 would fit me too! Already restored, probably wouldn't interest anyone here for the money, but just thought I'd post it for the eye candy. (That Simplex RD looks like it might actually work . . .for a while.)

Vintage Hozan Truing Stand. A lot of cast iron and made solid. I think this is overpriced, however, perhaps the seller is willing to come down.
Hozan Truing stand on Craigslist NY
You will also have to come up with an adapter to hold a bicycle axle. I have seen these with cone shapes on the axle screws. That would fit into the hole for a quick release skewer. Perhaps a reverse cone would work for nutted axles or just a 3/8" counter bore.
Interesting truing stand.

Just a quick note: Seller was kicking out offers this AM @ $130 to everyone watching this item. I still have no doubt they would probably go a little lower and get you in the door at $100-120-ish.

Auction below is about to close in an hour with no bidders. Local pickup only, but ... holy crap can't believe it's not selling.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/264876540338
4 hours left on this, seller has dropped start price to $275 on a Motobecane bonded Pro Mark. I bought one a couple years ago for slightly less than this, mine is a German model, not internal-routed TT, not equipped as nice (all arabesque, this is Simplex retrofriction, Ofmega, Belleri). Local pickup only in New Bern NC. Someone local is liable to get a smoking deal on a killer, underrated frame. Needs some TLC, but not much!

In this case, I understand the VAR 07 above landed in the hands of a fellow BF'er, so it'll be in good hands!
