Reynolds 66 front and Reynolds 81 rear came in today.
I wish I had a cassette tool....... AGHHH! Really want to test it out on the road bike and get used to it before it goes on the SHIV Tri in March

Have you used it before? If not, use it sparingly the first time. It will continue to "warm" you for 12+ hours, and do a search online on how to remove it, without it um...burning.
I do use it, a little goes a long way.

I guess it depends on the person. It's not nearly that strong for me. I really wish it was. I can't even feel the mellow until I wash it off. The medium barely so.

Throw the stick!!!!
This will be my first time with it. I have used body glide but never an embrocation cream. Thanks for the suggestion on removing it, I'll do a search.

Today I bought and tested a new road saddle, Avenir 100 series. It is a lot more plush than the stock caad10 kappas pro saddle and the first 24 miles on it was good.

Bolded for emphasis. I have the Russian Tea and love it, but it takes a little getting used to, and be warned that hopping into a hot shower after a ride will reactivate/boost the heat.

lezyne super drive, 450 lumins $99, actually got it for $79 with a Halloween 20% off sale. I've had this a few months. With the short days I get caught out after dark on all my rides. Very small and very bright. Did better than the higher rated and priced lights over at mtbr.com

Instead of repairing or replacing a defected rs20 rear hub, they ordered and installed a 2012 Ultegra wh-6700 wheelset today. i can't wait to put some serious miles on these wheels.

Lightly used Neuvations with some brand new Conti's. CL. 40 miles round trip on the 75 lb bucket bike to get 'em. They're going on my '05 Fuji Team Issue budget CF build.

Definitely makes the bike more manly. Too much red and white = pink. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

You can never have enough black on a road bike, you got to have a very steady hand and a comfy folding chair to do it. i am going to add some nice black stripes some time in the future.
