De-Toured Randonnee. Looks like someone took a decent tourer and sportized it with those wheels and that gearing. $300 in VA.

That's kinda pretty...but maybe the wheels need to go. That pic makes it look the geometry look very relaxed

Not exactly vintage, but I would be on a bus if this were a size larger.

Saw this and was wondering about it. I take it's similar to a Raleigh Team Record, an entry level bike dressed as a team bike. Is that right?

This was listed under Bicycle parts so might still be there. I checked under bikes and not listed there as well. Can see clearly where drop out replaced so guessing it's a candidate for a repaint. By Boston pricing it's quite reasonable. Posted 3hrs ago.

https://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/bo...416306049.html

Jim Redcay Frameset - 24" - $275 (Belmont)Circa 1975 Jim Redcay Touring Frameset with Dura Ace headset and rear rack. Reynolds 531 tubing with beautifully thinned long point lugs and campy dropouts and fork tips. Currently built-up as it originally came to me so you can test ride. Has 27" wheels but I ran it for a while with 700c wheels and a longer reach rear brake (75mm). 61mm front brake reach works for both 700c and 27" wheels. Some touch-ups and bubbling paint on top tub under brake cable and at cable guides other paint is decent with a few scraped and scratches here and there. Not dents or dings. Takes 27.2 seatpost and British thread bottom bracket. Caught the derailleur in the rear spokes and damaged drop out which was just replaced by Toby Stanton at Hot Tubes. Touched up with rattle can auto paint. $275 or best offer

I suspect this is a good price for a frame set as it comes with some good parts.

https://fortsmith.craigslist.org/bik...416163464.html

Fausto Coppi/ repardo corse racing bike - $500 (Van Buren

This bike was hand built in Italy. Mid to late 90s according to research I did on the bike. Frame was top shelf quality Columbus genius very lightweight steel. Superb frame. It is just to tall for me, only reason I'm selling it. Frame has no dents, has minor scuff marks in some places, other than that it's a beautiful frame, paint is very good condition. Components are a mixture of SRAM & campagnola. Crank and chainrings are campagnola. Shifters are SRAM red double tap 10 speed. SRAM 10 speed cassette. Rear derailleur is SRAM xo 10 speed. Brakes are dura ace, hubs also dura ace. Bike is super fast, acceleration is amazing, and rides super smooth. Cannot go any lower than 500.00 cash for the bike, these frames alone is going for more than I'm asking for the complete bike. Would also consider trading this bike for a touring bike, or gravel bike, in a medium, 54 or 56cm bike, could add some cash for the right bike. If interested let me know what you have to trade. Thanks.

yes, but: many of the Celo's that Michel Calbourne sold were essentially re-badged Colnagos, made to his spec by Ernesto's builders and with "Celo" pantos. But he also sold some Japanese-sourced frames and this may be one of those. In which case a decent bike but not the bargain a $200 "Colnago" would be.

(sorry about this extra-large font, I tried to change it but cannot)

I agree, I mean my back and hands like it when I sit more upright but that just doesn’t have a nice line to it. The saddle being so low and the broken beak look to it doesn’t help either

Tx, back at ya.

I've still got a ways to go before I give up the drop bars but at this point they are just for looks, I don't even double wrap the bottom half anymore.

After 50 or whatever + years, we know what is going to get and keep us on the bike for the rest of the ride.

This bike has gone through a couple cycles on eBay with no bids at €10. Shipping might be a challenge, but it looks (say least on my cell phone) like it might be worth it.
