Fastest for me is 48 I think. I could go faster but the road is sketchy so I am usually on the brake for some of the ways down. You can’t see the bottom from the start point. Road is prone to flooding and debris washes up sometime.
I think I took whyfi on it he was here last time. Super steep climb out.

Are you talking about dip in the road up to the reservoir? You can get a little head of steam going on that one, but it's pretty tame. It is pretty tree-covered, too - I don't know that I'd trust GPS speed figures. I'll make sure my wheel sensor is online the next time I'm there and we'll bomb it
Yes that dip in the woods. Also know as canton hell.
Fun Fact: Dead Beaver on the climb yesterday. Led to all kinds of non family forum jokes for the rest of the ride.

Nice. I always wanted a Miyata back in the 1980's. I had to settle for a Shogun and a Panasonic based on LBS stock and my budget.

I wanted a De Rosa but the frameset was about $1400. Instead, I got a Tesch frameset for $700. That was in 1991. I got a Trek 660 with Ultegra in 1988 for $800.

Fixed, possibly. I think we called it 600 or 600EX back then. Yes?
