Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

That one's already been pointed out as such. I still get it off though, because bank. Would rather trade it off for a non-offensive one.

But is it divisive? I think you should start a thread to find out.

Super Kudos.

I noticed you started/ended in Evanston. My aunt lives there. I spent several summers there when I was young, but have not visited in many years. She bought her house when it was a so-so neighborhood back in the 1960's and now it's worth quite a fortune, I believe.

We had a good ride. One of my friends rides tubeless and had a puncture, he was spewing sealant all over everyone behind him. It sealed eventually but a few minutes later opened up again and he had to put a tube in. There was a TON of material for my sophomoric sense of humor, and I took advantage of the break to share it. I don't know if my friends appreciated it, it was definitely in the vein of "Beavis and Butthead."

I told my friend that if he plans to continue to ride tubeless he really should bring a dart or equivalent to save time.

All that riding for nothing. Sad.
