Lea, that Fiori looks great, I never recall seeing one or hear much about them outside of here, guess it is a Great White North bike. what is the frame?
I am not sure... so you be the judge does the Texas sun faded Sizzling Peach paint on my Volpe count as pink enough to post here?

this may not qualify as pink either but cerainly gets an honorable mention for disco style

Thank you BianchiGirll,
Fiori were made by Norco and they were quite popular in Quebec and ROC in the 90's. I don't know if they were sold in the US. It's not a very good bike, but I realy like them. Light, smooth ride and good looking.

A pink Mercier I picked up for a song a while ago. A Reynolds 531 frame from the early '70's. Decals are gone; paint is ok, but the chrome is flaky. Not sure what I'm going to do with it; it currently sits in the "museum".

Casually Deliberate
This bike is so cute! I know the post is very old but I just saw a link to this thread in another thread and the picture of this bike really did make me squeal like a girl. LOL Probably too big for me but I'm going to keep my eyes open for one like it anyway. Did I mention it was cute?

Paramount
Good Afternoon All;
First post to the forum...
Setting: Early 1980's in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida finds me stationed (USAF) at Eglin AFB. Local Classifieds ad for a Schwinn Paramount. Used to have a Raleigh (either a Grand Sport or Grand Prix, the memory is failing me) in the 70's while still in High School, but I lusted over the Paramounts I used to see in the window of the local Schwinn dealer. Following a cash transaction, it was mine. Rode it in Florida, then Korea. Next duty station was Greece, then Hawaii, finishing up my career in Germany. The Paramount saw little use during those later years.
Now it is the present, and courtesy of the internet and the global information available, I start doing my homework. Based on color alone, the fact that the bike was/is equipped with a full Shimano 600 group, and some other "features" (brake cable and downtube shifter braze-ons), I started to wonder what I'd really purchased all those years ago...
Waterford and Richard Schwinn to the rescue. Sent off for a Provenance report, and the results are that yes, I did purchase a genuine Paramount (circa 1964).
Unfortunately all I can offer right now are "vignettes", I don't have a picture of the full bike, and at present it is in pieces anyway.
Remember what I said about the time period (early 80's) and location (Florida). Well at some point prior to my ownership, someone tried to bring my Paramount into the (then) present, in a period-correct hue.
Here are some "highlights"...

my '92 Viner has a blue tint in the clearcoat, which makes it lipstick maroon in bright sunlight. (In clouds it's cut-an-Italian red)

There's another pink bike thread and I posted there but will do so again. Built this for my wife in the early '80s from a Chiorda mixte (Berseau-type frame, actually). I had the paint and brazing done by Marinoni and still have the original pinked road fork so it can be returned to skinny-wheel status if desired. Drum brakes let the black rims survive unworn and yellow MX bars practically demand yellow cable housing. Nice little bike but not light. More a design exercise, a novelty and an expression of love than anything. We sold it about 15 years ago to a friend for his teenage daughter and he recently gave it back to us now that the girl is all grown up.

If it were mine, I'd be inclined to put a silver 10-s Ergo Campy group on it.
I like it.
