New convertible pants and ti spork arrived more than one week ahead of original estimated date. Decided to entomb the spork even though I love it.

yeah, it’s to justify putting more speed cameras. Her tandem idea with this is to raise citywide speeding fines to $500 minimum. In the name of pedestrian safety of course .
I was going to post something silly taking a dig at, err, all that, but can’t bring myself to do so. I hope you’re safe.

I'm about 4 or 5 miles away from the epicenter, so I haven't heard or seen anything. I used to live closer and I do ride through that area frequently, though, and I've been tempted to check it out. I think I'll wait 'til the embers cool, though. There's been an arrest and charges filed, so hopefully that'll help, too.

trying to get home via standby is probably the most stressful thing one can ever do. And I do not wish this on anyone.

yeah, the health of DC’s coffers.
they've been angling for it for at least a year. Mainly to increase revenue coming in from speed cameras (since waze gained popularity DC speed camera revenue gone down significantly even with increased camera count). Almost 80% of DC has a speed limit of 25 anyway.
I agree that there is a high number of drivers are taking full advantage of the emptier roads, but I don’t buy it for a second that DC government has anything but dollar signs in their eyes regarding this “initiative”.

Frontier is the only airline that goes non-stop from Wichita to Denver, so yessir..... I paid for the flight, the seat, the puppy carry on, the air I plan to breathe, and the armrest I "might" use. I just hope the engines on the plane start.

I don't even know how speed cameras work (beyond what the name implies). We have a few red light cameras, but even those were cut back some because enough people complained to the state government.
