Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Not one that doesn’t have the possibility of exploding.

Took my daughter to Busch Gardens today. She’s finally tall enough to qualify for all of the kids rides. We got to ride our first roller coaster together and she loved it. Rode it three more times after.

I’ll not spoil it, but today’s Paris-Nice stage is well worth watching, too. Tirreno Adriatico starts tomorrow and promises to be a good race this year, too.

I guess Omloop could be considered, but Strade has become much more prestigious.

I'd at least want things to be the in the same categorical plane. It's a reasonably nice frame built with mostly 105, so I feel it deserves nice stuff but not too nice.

Also I've got a "gravel" Salsa seatpost and handlebar with a road Syncros stem. That just feels a little odd to me, but I'm a little odd myself.

What good is 78 degrees if there are going to be 40-50 mph winds starting around lunchtime and then storms in early evening?
