I have painters tape on my cervelo to protect it from cable scratches………..
Edit: painters tape on my cervelo’s bars too. That I don’t have a valid reason for.

Took my daughter to Busch Gardens today. She’s finally tall enough to qualify for all of the kids rides. We got to ride our first roller coaster together and she loved it. Rode it three more times after.

It's not important to be the same brand, unless it is to you. Thomson stems are garbage, and the setback post looks like ass, so you're good there. Carbon bars aren't polished..... I'm not sure I would ride anything but.
