Huh. Oh well -- too bad. Did you tell him he should actually put that asking price in the ad instead of listing it at $0? Not only does the ad title list a price of $0 (see screenshot), but he does not list any price in the body of the ad either. He'll eliminate a bunch of inquiries from folks who don't realize he's either made a mistake or is playing games (hopefully the former).

I emailed and got the same response.
It's not that hard to update a listing on FB and that would remove the ambiguity.
Shipping to Canada is $150 so I'm out .

$75 for the two together. Not a matched set; RD is dated '75 and front is post CPSC. Condition is fair.

Picchio Tandem - $1,000 - Long Beach,CA
https://losangeles.craigslist.org/la...714988661.html
From ad:
"Very cool Picchio Tandem, and quite rare to find, esp. in this condition.
57cm center-top-seat to top of top-tube Captain
59.5cm center-to-very-top-of-the-seat tube.
55cm center-top stoker seat
60cm center-center stoker top tube
56cm center-center captain top tube.
This bike came from the collection Sheldon Brown, who wrote about it on his web-site. He got the frame/fork from Mike Kone in the early 1990s and built it up to suit him and his wife. Highly collectible. We've ridden it a good bit, and it's a very nice-riding tandem. The Oria crimped tubing gives more stiffness and the crimping on the underside of the boob-top results in a mildly oval cross-section, which is helpful for stability in turns. The metallic-red paint is quite striking and graphics are all perfect throughout as shown. Note the Shimano biopace drivetrain, which is quite intriguing to ride, we liked it. Bike is in perfect riding condition, just assemble, adjust, install pedals of your choice, and go."

Let me preface this link by stating I know nothing about vintage road bikes. However it looks pretty and based on limited research it might be somewhat cool. The lack of full bike pics do limit my ability to fully ID model and year. https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...715126863.html

I was on the design team for this bike and can 100% say it was NOT built by Tom! It was a $500 MSRP bike! It had True Temper AVR tubing through out, There was a sticker on the chain stay that said Designed in the USA with a small flag because the world wide HQ for the brand was then based in Carson CA. The bike was built in our main factory in Taiwan where we built KHS and dozens of other worldwide brands. Aside from the Shimano STX drivetrain I believe the cockpit and SP were by HL, Seat by Velo. Tires most likely Panaracer and Bontrager rims. Hope that helps!

I don't have enough forum karma yet (long time lurker, first time poster) to post my own thread. But I'm asking about the blue bottecchia listed above.
If I've been looking for 2 months for a frame with requirements
1) 62/64cm frame (I'm 6'4")
2) italian heritage
3) clearance for at least 32mm tires (prefer 35 but thats never gonna happen I think)
4) preferably original in decent shape
Add $100 estimated shipping, this would cost me $250 total.
Does this look like a good deal? My goal is to find a frame with the above that I can modernize (maybe forbidden here, lol), ie spread the front/rear to 110/130mm. This is my first project bike.
Thanks!

Don't think capitalism's all that weird then buy a burger
-I hyperventilated as if I were in the deli and they helped the person behind me, the only xxl columbine on fleabay has only 100% markup, so I can't be any more a hater than of my lbs friend. It was originally on the site of a seller with Pacific in the name, who is following a very gradual curve by which he prices stuff which will get to retail a few years down the line.
