Yeah, mine have never shown any objection, either, but if they did, that would be my response.
And yeah, I'm completely incognito in kit and it cuts both ways - no one from my non-cycling life recognizes me in kit and no one that knows me only as a cyclist recognizes me in plain clothes. I've creeped out a friend of 25+ years by wordlessly slow rolling next to him on a bike path - he was starting to get uncomfortable before doing a double-take and realizing that it was me . Other times, in plain clothes, I've come across people that I've ridden with and I've had to introduce myself because they thought I was some random weirdo that started a conversation with them and somehow knew their name.

I leave work almost fully kitted out most days during DST, at least the last few years. Prior to that it was more like 2 days out of 5.

Kaiser freaking Permanente loves making you wait. Mombug’s next set of pain meds was “ready”. Showed up, “it’ll be a few minutes”.

Gonna try for 5 again in an hour or so.

I was just checking out Weather Underground for an idea of the conditions for my afternoon ride. Usually, this being the Peninsula, it's either windy and cool, or it's less windy and warm. Today, it's windy and hot. North end of the route, 87. South end, high 90s. Oh, goody.
At least today I remembered to bring a bottle.
EDIT: The later I start, the cooler - or at least less hot - it will be. BUT the later I start, the windier it will be.

Supposed to be around 100 here tomorrow. I could drive to the coastal area but it will be a zoo. I could drive into the mountains but probably won't have anyone to ride with. First hot world problems. Friends might be driving to the coast north of here. The other thing is $6.30 gas. It would cost me $50 or more to drive north.
