Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Been crickets in the 33 sub-forum for a while. the traffic there has kind of mirrored participation in American road racing in general.... that's why I have been gracing you guys with my presence

BUT.... things are for sure on the up-and-up with participation in road racing in SCNCA in 2023/2024. Like way up. Hopefully that is true in other districts and eventually our little subforum takes off again! We had our own chat thread over there

It’s based on boat length. Our 32’er was cleaned quarterly at a cost of about two Rapha Core jerseys.

Incorrect. Productive activities (away from home) from midday until 20:30. Drove through the Bush's Beans office campus in the process.

It’s not a huge expense relative to everything else, but yes, it does seem like an unpleasant job.

We only got about 4 inches of snow here. Disappointed.

Diving is scummy marina water, ear infections, no visibility, stray current issues - no thanks!

I haven't priced it in about 20 years, and I'm surprised it's not much higher these days. You know what, screw this mountain crap, I'm moving to Seattle gonna get a live-aboard.
