Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Shimano makes shoes in wide sizes. Bontrager I think do. Those are the only two I found with 2E sizes. I find these NorthWaves to be wider than other shoes I've tried.

ChainReaction has Shimano R170 in wide fit for $150.
- Has the dynalast carbon sole. Reviews for the shoes is, it's so good that there isn't any good reason to buy Shimano's more expensive models.

Oh, I was referring to moving my cleats wider. The shoes actually fit amazing, I ordered a 10, which is what I wear in all my work boots and running shoes.

PBK is selling some limited 10 and 11 speed DA cassettes for about half off right now. I would have bought one, but i'm not into the 11\23 or 11\25 gear ratio.

It would be SO NICE if people would take another 12 seconds and include a link to whatever they are talking about. I mean, they are already right there--all they have to do is right-click on the address bar, left-click on "copy", move the pointer to this "Quick Reply" block, right-click again, then left-click on "paste".

I just did it and it took 12 seconds. Thank you.

Excel Sports has Panaracer Race Type A Evo II tires on sale for $30.88 apiece right now.

great price on a very good, 126tpi, dual compound 210g (23c) tire.

I have a pair that I paid, IIRC, $50 for awhile back, and they're pretty nice. They roll well, feel responsive, and grip well; I raced crits on 'em last spring and had no complaints. Width on the 23 is exactly 23mm on 15mm bsw rim. Well worth the coin, IMO.

And sorry, no link, because I just got news from an email.

Just saw that Art's Cyclery posted their Black Friday sales. Looks like they've got some pretty good deals on apparel & accessories. They are also doing a tiered discount structure starting at $15 off orders over $100.

Some super low pricing on their 'door busters' too. CO2 for $1.00 and bar tape for $5.99 a few others too.

I just checked out Art's Cyclery's deals. They've got a bunch of stuff marked 20% off (and a few things more like Birzman tools at 50% off). In addition to that they are doing instant savings on every order. Take $15 off $100 orders $60 off $350 orders etc.

The best deal I found though was the Garmin Edge 500 for $134 with free shipping. Ive been wanting a garmin for a while, but it seems like they never go on sale...until today hah! Garmin Edge 500 GPS Cycle Computer Neutral

The rest of their Black Friday deals are linked from their homepage: Art's Cyclery
