Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Garmin is saying it is a software bug, I hope they are correct. I just don't understand why it is a problem, they have been doing this for a while can't they just use the power software from their previous models?
That's exactly what I was thinking... unless the ANT+ hardware changed causing it to read power incorrectly, that would be a problem

Topeak Racerocket HP

Gets to 100 psi easier than I thought, even the non-hp racerocket reaches 100 psi without an insane level of effort. It replaces a Road Morph G that didn't work so well on my last flat. I can say that it was an upgrade on all fronts.

All on 24 HR deliver so will all be here tommoro, most of it was in the sale and the helmet was 50% off and I saved like £50 all told, and gave 35p to charity as it was an option when buying so all in all a good days shopping and a cheaper than expected bill!!

oh and on top off all this I got a further 15% off in the multi buy codes!!!

Bloody bargen!

Got them from eBay last night for a much lower price than the $400 MSRP.

Bought a Garmin Edge 510 and a GSC 10 cadence sensor to replace my self-disassembling, decrepit Edge 300. I'm loathe to replace anything that works, but the 300 had a periodically iffy battery the last three years. Sometimes it would just random shut off during a ride, then when I was about to replace it it would be fine for six months! Now the battery doesn't last a ride, the case is splitting, the face is all scratched up, and the buttons are glitchy. Yeah, replacement time.

A set of Zipp 101. Put my first 40 mile ride on them & they're smooth riding. Only time & miles will tell tho.

Went to the grand opening of the Performance store in Ft Lauderdale. I had a 15% coupon from the mailer and a $20 money card for getting there before they opened at 9am. I got a set of their 2013 Ultra Bibs and Jersey. Actually really impressed for the price. Compression sleeves and legs. No annoying rubber grippers! The total for the two was around $120 which is cheaper than all my other bibs alone.

I have a pair of their new bibs too and like them quite a bit. I have nothing to compare them to though, but think I might pick up another pair for the price.

I usually buy socks or gloves or something every other week or so. This week I went overboard.

Just bought these Pro Transit Panniers off a guy on Craigslist for $10. They're in really good shape and even came with rain covers.
