The haul from the last few days, bars from Mad Honk , toe clips from Boulder Bike, and TA crank (for my Griffon, Eroica-bound?) from eBay. The crank will get new rings, but it's otherwise in good shape.

The pedals on my Fuji Folding bike are having problems after so many years of use. They weren't particularly sturdy when new, and now they are coming apart at the seams. Yea, I know, pedals don't have seems. My preference for pedals is always MKS however, I'm not riding the Fuji Folder as much as I was hoping to and therefore don't want to spend as much on this bike as I would for my more, umm, favored bikes.
So, I went cheaper and got these with a Walmart online order that I had put together for some more mundane items.
They feel sturdy, and similar to MKS, are a little bit stiff now, but I'm expecting them to loosen up when they get some miles on them. I'm looking forward to trying these out. My only other concern with these pedals are that they have these grippy pins on them, which is good for holding onto shoe soles, but could be a problem if I put the bike in the back seat of my car as it could tear the upholstery. We see how things go with them.

Thursday I got in some Campagnolo clamp on DT shifters so I can convert the Holdsworth Professional back to a proper drop bar setup. Friday I got in a big quantity of loose 3/16" and 5/32" ball bearings. My supply was getting low on those sizes.

malcala622 Nice Bianchi. I'd like to have one of those frames but most of '87s I see are too far away and/or too expensive. It's the same frame they used on the Sport SX and is a good rider.

I spent some time on flea bay the other day and found this item. I wasn't looking for it but I found it interesting and so I bought it because it was pretty cheap.. Arrived today and it really has a few interesting features. Can you spot them and figure out what I saw in this relic? Smiles, MH
An older model Gran Compe caliper.
I kinda bought it with this feature as the value of the caliper.
It certainly will need some small parts that will need to come from the Co-Op, but It will be put back together correctly.
And I had this matching caliper in the junk box so a matched pair will be the result.

A nice day from postal worker Paul in the MH's mailbox. Some rather cool Campy goodness from the PNW, and a box of small parts. Smiles, MH
A few years worth of writing implements.
The small parts that have plenty of useful items to be put into the stash boxes.
The box of parts included a full bottom bracket.
And two lower race pieces that are hard to find undamaged.

Thank You Robvolz!! I have to be more diligent about opening my parcels. I sent Robvolz that BikePro bag, which apparently will come in very handy for him. So nicely he offered to send me a stem in return but since I wasn't going to use it right away I didn't open the box. I opened it today and found some coffee money too! Thank You

for what it's worth....
I was lucky enough to buy a bunch of Pearl Izumi crochet gloves a long time ago. They've been great.... just enough padding to work, plus constructed from synthetic materials that wear fairly well. Unless someone is sitting on a pile of these, it appears that I need to buy some current production crochet gloves.
My initial purchase is a pair of the Rivendell G.O.A.T. gloves. Purchased from Soma (Merry Sales). Price was good, but shipping was more than half the price of the gloves.
A look at the gloves:
I've used them a couple of times so far, and I'm not excited about them.
My main issue is that they aren't padded at all. In fairness, that is clear in the literature. Still, I had hopes.
They should be fine on my bikes with padded tape, but with cotton tape, it's just not adequate.
They are made of leather, and I fully expect them to quickly rot if I wear them in sweaty weather. This was the standard fate of the leather gloves that preceded the beloved Pearl Izumi's.
The plan is to try the Planet Bike gloves. In fact, I'd have them now if they were in stock in my size.
They are leather too, so I might need to look at some modern gloves for the hot and humid part of the year.

XTR 950 Brakes for the Sworks M2 since I stole the ones on it for the mystery Cannondale build. I made a $15 less offer and the seller accepted.

Today I got a box that was a smaller version of the BOC from hazetguy . It had a few wonderful gifts inside, including a lot of skewers complete with volute springs which are hard to find. And a very cool Velox tubular tire patch kit. The Velox kit always has the right amount of patches and sealant for them. And they came with plenty of thread to re-make the tire a complete item to go back into service. What a wonderful gift! Smiles, MH

Today I got a few Campy levers that were listed as for parts from Shop Dog Bikes and I also got a bit of VAR goodness from Wayne at Mel Pinto. Wayne sez the problem with selling the VAR tools is that you only sell them once because they last forever!
I am hoping to make two use-able levers from all three of these damaged ones.
A very cool Mavic spoke wrench that fits three different size spoke nipples. Now to find the torch and tear a Mavic wheel apart

Got a special delivery today from Mad Honk
He sent me some gifts, and my birthday is not until next month
Two Awesome Festina TDF chrono watches.
We must have the same size wrist because they fit great.
What an amazing suprise for a new member.
I have always been a little intimidated to get into time pieces as the cost of entry can be high and the unlimited options, sizes, features etc can make ones head hurt, but it seems like a gentlemanly thing to collect and have a rotation of and now that He started my collection for me I cant go wrong. I feel like an adult hahaha haha
Thank you Mad Honk. They will be well loved.

Galli Super Criterium Brakes!
The brakes themselves only way 264 grams. Titanium center bolts, alloy nuts, alloy pad holders, alloy adjusters, etc.
The pads appear to be the same dimensions as Campy pads so I’m hopeful I’ll be able to install some Kool-Stop pads.
