Seeing it now on the laptop, I might still call white oak. When trees get that big and that old, their skin changes enough to be unrecognizable except under close examination. Like us.

Extremely casual ride for me. Goats and chickens spotted. Also cattle, turkeys, and horses.

One time I got referred to a GI doctor. When I checked in I was standing at the receptionist desk doing the regular stuff and she asked to see my insurance card. I causally tossed it toward her on the counter, thinking nothing of it.
Somehow the doctor got word of this (greatly exaggerated, no doubt). He comes in the exam room and says, "Do you have a problem with my staff members? If you do, this appointment is over."
I was like, "wut" Not even knowing what he was referring to.
Anyway, I wonder what my notes said for that appointment. Probably not "pleasant."

A brand new guitar that looks like someone dragged it down a gravel road behind a car? So if I run it through a woodchipper it's now priceless?

I understand how d.c. current works. But a.c. trips that breaker for me. I just can't figure it out. I know if I do this and this and attach this wire to that I'll get this. But how and why makes my brain shut down.

Worked my 3rd 20 plus hour shift last night for the week. I'm too old for that shiz. And I'm still on call for 2 more days. Swearing about it just isn't cutting it anymore.

Oh, man DougRNS you should have been there.
I was at an gathering of the olds. Sat down at a table with some people for lunch. I didn't know them, but my dad did.
The first thing the guy said was "You remember when" and then--I kid you not--he mentions a meeting in Sharpsburg, at Buhl Park. It was amazing.
