Andy is a great guy. He and the band have been working hard, for over a decade, just to get to this point.
Now things are really hurting them(and other bands like them). Touring and playing is all they have, and there's really no end in sight to their "layoff".
they record the old fashioned way.

I always do one New Years Day. The only thing that stops us is snow. Most of my endurance rides that are 4.5 hours are usually around 90 miles, and an extra few wouldn't hurt too bad. Do enough, you can pretty much get on your bike and do 100 miles any time you choose. Once you adapt your body to chew up fat instead of muscle, you can do them on a few bottles of Roctane drink mix.
The New Years Day ride I've done the most is Mount Wilson. I think I've done it 16 times but it's only 65 miles the way I do it. Sometimes we have to shorten due to snow or ice. Couple years ago it was 22 degrees when we turned around to descend.

This was on Mrs. rjones28's radio program today. 2014 recording. Piazzolla wrote the music in 1982.

Yeah, don't know if I'll ever get the century bug again. Before Corona my Saturday club rides were between 65 and 80 miles. Seemed like enough.

It's been at least four since I last did one.

I guess I'm a little older than you. I remember when Rich Girl was their hit song, but I have older brothers that were into the Allman Brothers, and the Dead(so I was mocked relentlessly for listening to that Pop Music Cheese).

I'm 66 and I loved the Fillmore East Allman Brothers album. The Dead were ok, but not one of my favorites. Funny, I like Leslie West more now than back when. I could listen to him solo until my ears bleed.

My brothers took me to my first concert 8/13/77(Yes at the Boston Garden) when I was 9. My brothers were babysitting while my folks were at a church retreat, and a friend of their's came by with with 4 tickets he won.
Mom just heard about this a few years ago..

Technically, you are old enough to be my daddy. Too old to be in the Hall & Oates demographic.

I thought you were too young to know Hall & Oates from their 80s hits. You were too old to listen to Pop Music in the mid 80s.
