Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Meanwhile, the last book in the series has come out, and I've got it on Kindle, but I am hesitant to read it. No going back....

3rd call in this week...technically it's the 4th, since the one this morning morphed into the one I'm still on. I was .5 way through my zwift ride and got the call. Bastids. 16 hours so far. I need to ride that apple based zwift more to see if I like it (I like it) it is quite different but I suspect I'll get used to it.

so the guy that stock piled all that iron ore slag, that caused that upheaval 3 months ago decided to move it to a different storage yard....guess what happened..... If you said , "it happened again" you would be correct! Tell him what he's won Don Pardo! Eff me people are dumb.

Aled is riding a Trendsetter bike. A Giant Propel with Zonda wheels. Moving it around , out on the porch, I had the urge to hop on it and see how it rides. One of these days I'll try one out.

This reminds me that I need to look online to see if I can find neighborhoods with good light displays. On the way back home from dinner last night, we meandered, turning for any promising lights - didn't see anything terribly impressive. It reminded me of how much I enjoyed doing that as a kid, but my dad always had an idea of where to go.
