I have all but given up looking for a nice Mixte. as soon as some current projects are done I am just putting my foot down and buying the Soma. giving it a bit of thought a 58/59 with a Hi Ten frame may be a bit noodley.

58cm Paletti Lightning vintage Italian racing bicycle.
This bike was built for racing with Campagnolo Super Record components, but was brought up to date about 10 years ago with Shimano 600 STI components; freehubs, derailleurs, and shifters. The crank is now a fully drilled Sugino Mighty Comp 53x42, (with the Shimano one key release system). The wheels, in addition to the Shimano freehubs, are built with Campagnolo Omega Hardbox aero clincher rims, DT spokes and new, never ridden Bontrager 700x23 tires, and the cogset is a 12-28
7-speed Shimano Hyperglide unit. The wheels run straight and true, and the bike shifts flawlessly. The bar and stem are by Cinelli, and the bike includes a Vetta C15 dual display cyclocomputer, with instructions, and it has cushioned handlebar tape and a generic but comfortable lycra covered saddle, but I'll include a new Bontrager saddle if the buyer prefers. First generation Shimano clipless pedals are included, with cleats, in used but very good condition, and I have a pair of almost unused Avia bicycle shoes, size 9, that will also go with the bike.
The frame is beautifully built with Columbus tubing, and has an engraved bottom bracket, upper seatstay ends, lower head lug, rear brake stay, and full sloping Cinelli fork crown, all highlighted in contrasting colors. The seatstays are double tapered, both above and below the brake stay. The complete fork, as well as the brake and seatstays are chromed. The brake calipers, headset, seatpost, and of course the seatpost binder bolt are all the original Campy items. The only problem with this bicycle, and it's a cosmetic one, is that the center guide for the rear brake cable has a small piece that's broken out which is hardly noticeable, and which doesn't affect its function. The paint has a few nicks (touched up) and other battlescars, but looks very good. The standover height is 34 inches.
I'm the second owner of this bike. I bought it in 1983, when it was 2 years old. It has served me well for 28 years, and it still has many more years of service left in it. It rides beautifully, very supple for a bike with race angles, and is very responsive to rider inputs. I have more detailed pictures available.

Bianchi Ibex Mt Bike... my guess is early 90s. Excellent working condition. Good rubber, brakes, shifters. Great around town bike as well. Probably best for someone 5'6" to 5'10".

58cm Paletti Lightning vintage Italian racing bicycle.
This bike was built for racing with Campagnolo Super Record components, but was brought up to date about 10 years ago with Shimano 600 STI components; freehubs, derailleurs, and shifters. The crank is now a fully drilled Sugino Mighty Comp 53x42, (with the Shimano one key release system). The wheels, in addition to the Shimano freehubs, are built with Campagnolo Omega Hardbox aero clincher rims, DT spokes and new, never ridden Bontrager 700x23 tires, and the cogset is a 12-28
7-speed Shimano Hyperglide unit. The wheels run straight and true, and the bike shifts flawlessly. The bar and stem are by Cinelli, and the bike includes a Vetta C15 dual display cyclocomputer, with instructions, and it has cushioned handlebar tape and a generic but comfortable lycra covered saddle, but I'll include a new Bontrager saddle if the buyer prefers. First generation Shimano clipless pedals are included, with cleats, in used but very good condition, and I have a pair of almost unused Avia bicycle shoes, size 9, that will also go with the bike.
The frame is beautifully built with Columbus tubing, and has an engraved bottom bracket, upper seatstay ends, lower head lug, rear brake stay, and full sloping Cinelli fork crown, all highlighted in contrasting colors. The seatstays are double tapered, both above and below the brake stay. The complete fork, as well as the brake and seatstays are chromed. The brake calipers, headset, seatpost, and of course the seatpost binder bolt are all the original Campy items. The only problem with this bicycle, and it's a cosmetic one, is that the center guide for the rear brake cable has a small piece that's broken out which is hardly noticeable, and which doesn't affect its function. The paint has a few nicks (touched up) and other battlescars, but looks very good. The standover height is 34 inches.
I'm the second owner of this bike. I bought it in 1983, when it was 2 years old. It has served me well for 28 years, and it still has many more years of service left in it. It rides beautifully, very supple for a bike with race angles, and is very responsive to rider inputs. I can meet the buyer at the NH Welcome Center on -I95 with the bike if necessary. I have more detailed pictures available.
