The county and the national park service had closed some of the roads during the pandemic so people have more space to exercise during the lock down.
Id been to one this morning since I wanted to have a short ride close to home. Once more I realized how stupid cagers clean the roads just by being on them. We had thunderstorms last night and the road was littered with small branches, sections of mud/grit layers and all that debris.

Wow there was a very intense cell that passed directly over Albany and Schenectady a short while ago. Didn't realize it was storming up there, it's quiet and sunny down here, although it looks like we're going to experience some of those hit or miss storm cells ourselves later.

You're too kind, I think the anxiety of flying exposes people as the dicks they truly are.

I really wish I had a better camera with me yesterday.
About 20 minutes after setting off I had to stop for a nature break so I found a access point to a farmers field through some trees.
It was still fairly early, the sun was behind some clouds, things were still a bit foggy, and these two sandhill cranes were standing out in the field together:

Hmm.. My anxiety kicks into full-dark-no-stars even while driving to the airport, but it causes me to fold up into myself like origami and consequently generally not have the wherewithal to even act like a dick if I wanted to.

I have no weekends anymore. The are all the same. So much so that I frequently have no idea of the day of the week

Unfamiliar with the term. Same with stroopwaffles a few years ago.
