Hmmm. I have zero flight anxiety. Haven't for years. I didn't realize it was still a thing. Being a foreigner though, I prolly fly more than most non-business travelers. During my parents' final years, I was up there sometimes five times in a twelve month period. Thanks to the Covid, this calendar year will be my first without boarding an airplane in 20 years. My flight anxiety plays out as trying my best to get an aisle seat.

Took a little ride with the boy while the girls napped. Shared a root beer float and taught him the ways of MUP Racing. Look at this vulgar display of power -

Ahole decided to take a short joy ride on his Harley on a fairly busy MUP with a young child between his legs. I pulled over and called the cops. He came back the other way. From the sound of the engine, I think he went back to a residential area near by. I let the cops know. Dude hit what I think was about 25 mph.

For me it's the proximity to others. I don't worry about the plane crashing; I get stressed out by being around people. Airplanes put me in close proximity with lots of people, where I can't even step outside for a minute to recenter myself.
It's bad enough that this house is killing me and AG is ready to move out of town, like to Dripping Springs or Wimberly, to give us a place with more space to the neighbors so I wouldn't be constantly on the verge of a breakdown over noises and everything else. The hope is that in two years she'll be able to telecommute some and either the bank will have given up on making me move to Dallas or I'll just take the severance and do whatever.

Well glad that's over. Cut down 3 interior doors, rebutted them, and repainted the edges and any damage from handling. Only ruined one. Not really but the head gap is larger than I prefer.
I don't know what happened. I hung these doors a couple months ago, and all was well. Now everything is rubbing or wouldn't close at all. Waste of a good Sunday I tell ya.

I don't even have airport anxiety. If the outfit that booked my flight (never direct with the airline) has done their job, I can relax throughout. I'm a pretty relaxed joe anyway. Even behind the wheel(though that has taken some effort). All that said, I very much dislike riding a bike with more than one other person around.
And now I must finish overhauling that wheel hub I began yesterday. If I'm on my game I will do the other one too.

The shower is great. Unfortunately, we went under contract during lockdown, and the traffic has picked back up and it is LOUD. We're probably going to replace the windows with Serenity Sound Control, but I need quietude. This afternoon I heard the yoga music from the guy next door. Last Sunday evening I heard neighbors discussing a Cadillac while we were going to bed. I need a little ranch. And to AG's point, we can afford it. We'll see how things hash out over the next couple of years and hopefully go to the country.

Some of you know, I monitor morning HRV. I can tell you a day of active sailing the way we do it has the same effect on HRV as a string of threshold workouts, the next morning. I assume it’s for different reasons, but big stress, anyway.
So it is
