Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The thing you describe died three months ago. It was replaced by an orb that only emits a pale light for a eight hours. #RIP

Looks like rain the next four days.

Took the wife to try out a domane and emonda. The emonda was 47 cm. , and the domane was 49.

She liked the domane more and it actually looked like it fit her better. They did have to lower the seat wicked low on both of them though.

Well that was a bust. I deleted the fit app and reloaded it started over from scratch. Do the normal start sequence, no resistance after the spin down. Close the app. Reopen the app. Start a workout and I have resistance, but way too much. I cant ride long over 500 watts. Stop. Recalibrate with a spin down. Start a workout. No resistance.
Gahhhhhhhh!
I read the reviews in the app store. Some Android users with Samsung phones are complaining that they cant control their wahoo snaps with the fit app after the firmware update.
I updated my firmware the second time I tried to use this snap, it hasn't been right since. Worked great the first day. Bet you can guess what brand phone and operating system I have too.
Also, Wahoo, after releasing this firmware plague upon the earth decided, let's now give everyone the week off for the holidays. No one there to fix this not by phone or email.
I cant believe I have to go back to riding that effing Kinetic pos.
And still no friken shorts!!
