So I didn't want to start a new thread, ill ask this question here and hopefully get answered in this section.
When its 37' outside and you ride do you wear a buff of any kind? (a.k.a fishing buff)
I rode a few times this past week and its hard for me to suck in that cold 37 degree air outside. Thanks for the replies if any.

Personally, that's a very hard "no", as I try real hard to avoid looking like I just robbed a liquor store and set fire to an old folks' home. Those skull/clown/punisher graphics absolutely kill the deal. I am probably being crabby - it's early yet - but I would rather breathe cold air than run around in a Komedy Kriminals Klub halloween mask.
Back when I used to ride motorcycles regularly, I used a great thick Pendleton wool scarf, and it worked really well right down into the teens in dry air. Might be too heavy and bulky for bicycling, though.
If those offer those buffs in a more cheerful solid color that didn't give off the Urban X-Treeeeme Sports Thug™ vibe, it'd probably do the job just fine.

I also rode....
I also rode yesterday (01/28/18) early in the morning. It was dark however due to the very bright moon in the sky I could see these large belowing clouds in the sky. The clouds and sky were blue'ish in color, it was very quiet, and beautiful.

Bend Oregon. I ride road, but I see much more mountain bikes. With the very mild winter I'm at 1,250 miles for the year.

Escaped Mental Patient From Intel Oregon Living In Bellingham
Folks:
I escaped (retired) from the great insane asylum of Intel Corporation's Jones Farm Campus in Hillsboro, Oregon in April of 2016. My last day of work, I left the Jones Farm Campus on my bicycle and proceeded to ride to Bellingham, Washington, my retirement home. It took me five days to do the 320 mile trek, which I chose to go over the west side of Puget Sound through Olympia, Shelton, Allyn (which is also my last name), Belfair, Bremerton, the Hood Canal Bridge, Port Townsend, Coupville, Oak Harbor, Deception Pass, Burlington, and then finally over the beautiful Chuckanut Drive to Bellingham!
I am car-less; surviving 100 percent by bicycle, walking, a a few trips (about 15 total) on the Whatcom County bus system; over the last two years so far.
Right now, I just completed radiation treatment for prostate cancer and have still been able to get around by bicycle, including going to and from each of the 43 daily radiation treatment sessions.
I have recently started to make an impromptu television mini series for Bellingham Access Television as well as Youtube of myself riding my bicycle around Bellingham and the surrounding area and giving narratives of what I know about the history of places here in town. I will be announcing each program on the Pacific Northwest local part of the forums here

I'm here in North Bend, Washington. I've been without a road bike for the past 25 years... ever since my beloved Masi was stolen. But I finally got a new bike and I'm excited to get back on the saddle again!
