If you want to give it another shot, wet sand it down to smooth, reapply primer. Then wet sand with 1000 grit till smooth. Then 5 to 10 very light coats about 10 minutes apart. Then if it’s well covered about 5 very light coats of clear. Let it cure for a week or so, then wet sand with 2000 grit followed by a compound and polish until nice and shiny. That should give you a really nice finish.
Best if you can use an HVLP sprayer. If not, go really light coats with a rattle can. Thin and lots of coats is the key.

I had a pearl white Serotta Colorado in the ‘90s with polished Campagnolo Chorus. It was absolutely gorgeous but was a harsh riding machine. I’ve looked for pics a few times but alas, I can find none.

I could use a newer one. But even if I had a vast amount of money I couldn't imagine having more than three.
It was piled upon my desk.
I am west of I-75/640.

That's exactly what's in the window, a Colorado with Chorus. I'll get a picture next time.

I realized that my original plan was to ride outside a lot over the Christmas break, since I can't ride after work till DST starts again, so I decided to ride today, and we'll see about tomorrow.
It was cool (50 degrees) and windy (10 - 15 mph), with the wind out of the North. This meant that the 'Out' leg of the ride was not TOO bad, but the 'Back' leg was cold and a lot more work.
Even so, riding IRL >>> riding ITG. Though it's worth noting that the last 3 Zwift rides, it's been so cold in the garage that I don't turn on any fans till 20 minutes into the ride, and then only one fan, and that one on Low.

After Mrs. GeneJockey and I married, she worked a couple years as a teacher in a private school in the East Bay, which drew a lot of Berkeleyites. One of these was the daughter of Alice Kahn, who coined and popularized the term "Yuppie". At that time, Mrs. GeneJockey and I would have qualified, what with living in SF and all.
I qualified as a Yuffie, young urban failure.

No narration.
This will surprise most of you, but I'm old enough to remember the era when people invited other people over, fired up the slide projector, and told tales of their family expeditions.
Did you ride to work wearing a suit?
