Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

The DeRosa is off the hook.

The Scott would look sick with a pair of 60mm wheels.

I've been wanting to pickup a set of deep wheels for a while now, probably going to pick up a set of November's "Rail" wheels once its released.

So a well composed picture of an entry level Fuji can very well trounce a poorly presented Land Shark in the hotness scale.
Could someone post a "Rules and Regulations" list for this thread? Or is there one already out there? It would nice to know so folks could go by it before throwing their bike into the fire.

She looks nice! I'd give it a 'hot' with a few spacers removed.

I will be removing some spacers, just built it up and didn't want to cut too much without being sure.

Seems to get rehashed every 4 or 5 pages. If you are posting in a 480+ page thread I would think you would at least read the last couple pages.

Once the a few spacers are cut I have no problem with a hot. Its not fancy, but the set up looks good and clean. and its a unique frame which helps. Not such a fan of the actual picture

Although that DeRosa looks HAWT, I think it might operate more efficiently with a chain.

In reference to my Merak, a Chorus 11/KMC X11SL silver chain arrives Wednesday. Sadly, I'm going to miss the gold Recon cassette/KMC X11 gold chain combo. It seems 3T's "universal" freehub doesn't apply to aftermarket cassettes such as Recon.

What were they thinking???? I see a few spots on the wheels and top tube that they forgot to logo - a rolling eye chart.

For one thing, I'm a guy. And the other, I couldn't care less about the spacers. It's my herniated disc with the problem.

You need to have a bit of a thick skin when posting in this thread. Spacers do matter negatively when it comes to aesthetics which is all this thread cares about.

I like that Fuji frame, but the wheels clash with it.

It's without a doubt a nice bike - I'd agree the wheel decals throw it off. The paint job is bright and colorful - I bet wheels without decals and a white saddle would up the hotness.

I know you're in SLC, but by any chance were you on I-85 in a Toyota recently? Just checking.
