In other news, I am going to cut my hair today. Lubed my chain yesterday and replaced a slow leaking tube in my front tire. Got an oil change and changed the air filter on the wife's car yesterday.
Need to get lawnmower gas and will fill up the wife's car while I am at it. Going to try and avoid a nap if possible.

I don't mind the heat, per se, but riding (and every other activity) really becomes a pain once sweat starts getting in my eyes. Once it starts, which may not take very long, it plagues me the rest of the ride.
I may need to revisit the head sweats thing I've been wearing. It's not cutting it (though I'm unsure if anything will).
Oddly the sweat problem is much worse in my right eye. So I end up riding along squinting through one eye. It's a mess.

When it gets bad on a ride it seems to help some to rinse it out with the water bottle.

COVID must be hitting Cazenovistan hard. #Recession
Hoo boy.
Thank you.
I don't think it's sensitivity but rather asymmetric sweat flow. wut

I use the regular.
Before the Halo, on hot humid rides I would often have stinging sweat in my eyes. The Halo solved it for me. I know some BF posters have said it does not work for them (maybe their sweat output is too high) and if that happens Plan B is the Sweat Gutr. But the Gutr has a hard piece of plastic as a channel which I suspect is uncomfortable, while the Halo uses soft comfortable silicone.

I used a bandana the other day. It worked well but my head felt really hot. Does the halo help keep your head cool as well as absorb your sweats?

I don't think so. The Halo is for people who get sweat in their eyes. In your case the bandana may be adequate.

All this Halo talk got me thinking like
Of course, that's what I feel like riding around in my Giro Vanquish.
