Burley Paso Doble 2002 ($1000)
This is our previous tandem up for sale in the Minneapolis area:
https://minneapolis.craigslist.org/c...644742910.html
I am selling my well loved and cared for Burley Paso Doble (2002) Tandem. It has an excellent True Temper OX-Platinum air hardening CrMo Frame, has been kept indoors its entire life (there are some small areas of superficial rust showing in the paint and one scrape in the lettering, but nothing structurally wrong). It has never been crashed, and has been meticulously cared for. It has been ridden a few thousand miles over its lifetime.
The frame is a size "Small" (see here for geometry: https://www.precisiontandems.com/cat.../pasodoble.pdf )
although it fits like a medium in other brands (54cm captain with a 56cm top tub), so it would work for a captain anywhere from 5'7" to possibly 6'. The stoker compartment is quite long and low, with an adjustable stoker stem and long seatpost making it extremely flexible for a stoker of almost any size.
Most of the parts are original (see here for original specs: Burley 2002 Tandem Specs. ). It has a Shimano Ultegra-XTR drivetrain. Shimano LX brakes with upgraded pads. White Industry hubs laced to 30mm deep rims. It also includes a Shimano Flight Deck integrated computer which shows current gear combination, a truly useful feature on a tandem where you can't look down and see your current gearing. I have many other parts (pedals, stems, seats, etc.) that I would be happy to swap to make the bike work for a buyer.
The bike is located in St. Joseph, and I'd be happy to meet you for a test ride on the Woebegone trail, or can bring the bike to a meet up location for sale.

bicycle type: tandem
frame size: Folding
make / manufacturer: Graziella
wheel size: 20 in
This is a super cute Graziella folding tandem bike with 20-inch wheels. I think 600 of these were imported into the USA in the 1960's and I've only seen three in person, including this one.
I've rebuilt and replaced quite a bit of this bike, stopping short of a full restoration. I'm 6'4" tall and absolutely can't ride this thing. It's very cute. The girlfriend and I have taken it out for coffee a few times, but I'm too tall for it.
Custom wheels built by Luke @ Bunnyhop.
Bike comes with all original parts as well.
I have about $1200 in this bike. I've put less than 20 miles on it myself. I'm asking $350 because I need the space in my garage, and there's a very narrow market for this bike.
Make me a cash offer and take it home.

Vintage Sociable Side by Side Tandem Bike - $2800 (redwood city)
bicycle type: other
frame size: unknown
suspension: other/unknown
wheel size: 27 in
This is what Wikipedia has to say about these bikes.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sociable
This one is from the early 70's made by Bob Barrett. He built them in the East Bay, usually on Schwinn Paramount single frames.
I have the history of this bike from one of the brothers who started Wheelsmith in Palo Alto back in the 70's. "Best side-by-side ever but long gone."
It's a very unusual bike, the concept has been around for quite some time, also being produced later for a short time by a company called Buddy Bikes.
This one rides great, has new tires, and two cool vintage leather Brooks saddles.
If I'm reading the tires correctly, it is a 27" tire.
Would be a fun bike for Burningman.

Bushnell touring tandem
My wife and I have decided to sell our Bushnell touring tandem. After owning it for a bit over 10 years, we've ridden it a total of maybe 5 times, and future prospects look poor. She runs a small business with crazy-long hours and is no longer comfortable biking on the road. The previous owners barely rode it, either. And from the looks of it, neither did the owners before them. It’s a touring frame, and there’s no evidence anyone ever mounted a rack on it, let alone loaded it up for a long-haul tour.
It’s been hanging indoors for the past 10 years, except for when it went outside for photos.
A few highlights: welded construction, seat tubes (center to top) 56.5 cm captain and 53.5 cm stoker, Ritchey rear dropouts, 40-spoke 700C wheels with White Industries hubs and Mavic rims, Ultegra 6510 3x9 brifters driving a Deore XT rear and Ultegra triple front derailleurs and Avid Single-Digit 7 brakes (via Travel Agents), Race Face cranks and chain rings, Terry titanium-rail saddles, unicrown fork with mid-fork rack bosses, Arai drum brake controlled by the stoker. The brifters are connected to a Shimano-branded Flight Deck computer that displays gear selections, etc. The computer, pump, tool carrier, and Lezyne Road Morph pump will be included in the sale.
Known damage: Bar-end dent in captain’s top tube, left side. Small chip through paint on down tube, near head tube, right side. Chipping/scuffing on brifter caps. Tear in bar wrap on stoker’s right side, mended with electrical tape.
Also available:
Rocky Mounts TandemMount R4. This is a telescoping rail-type carrier designed for Thule or Yakima crossbars. It has a swiveling fork-mount, and a tray and strap for the rear wheel. (instructions included) On the RockyMounts site, it is listed as sold out and priced at $450. With the bike, $200. (https://www.rockymounts.com/products/tandem-mount-r4 )
Harken Hoister 2-point lift for hanging the tandem (Model 7807, max load 60 lbs). Includes all pulleys, ropes, straps, screw-eyes, pigtail lag screws, and the block and tackle. (instructions included) On the www.hoister.com website, they no longer list a 2-point lifter like this. The similarly rated 4-point lifter is priced at $125, and I think we paid about $110. With the bike, $75.
The Albany, NY, craigslist ad is here: albany.craigslist.org/bik/d/bushnell-touring-tandem/6674031002.html
Additional photos and a PDF document with more details can be found here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7...VFpOEd3Wkw5aXM
I've listed it at $1200 on CL, but offer it to you for $1000. Local pickup would be preferred. I'd also be happy to negotiate delivery within about 100 miles of Albany, or work with a local bike shop for shipping at buyer's expense.

There's a last-26er-generation Cannondale tandem in my area. I believe the Looks like quite a steal at $1200. Or maybe not. It does look pretty well used. Check out the paint wear on the cranks! I'm sure I've seen it listed before with these photos but not paying enough attention to tell you if the price has dropped. I want a front-suspension MTB tandem in size M/S and I'd be all over this if I were ready to buy one today.
Check out the THREE different rear brake provisions! I was thinking this was the end of USA manufacture for Cannondale but that must have been the 2015 29ers. I remember reading that those and the CAAD10 were the end, and the CAAD12 arrived for MY2016

El Conq for sale near me. I’m not going to get my off-road tandem for another few years yet when the twins are old enough to ride with crank shorteners. And this one is a L/M when I’ll want a M/S. But it’s on my mind.

I'm trying to resist buying another tandem and instead save for something new and nice but this coupled Santana in our size is something I've been tempted by for the last month or so, especially as the price dropped.
