1972 ItalVega Gran rally
Since I just about removed 30-40 % of the paint to get the rust off of this thing, it is about 50/50 silver and chrome! Joe

Here's newer pictures of the OPUS III. Hard color to really pin down but Fuji called in Wine Silver.

Not sure of year, 2004 to 2006. Airborne Zeppelin I purchased used in 2017. Great shape and good price. Light, nimble and fast!![](https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/bikeforums.net-vbulletin/1280x720/20190602_122656_resized_ba03c2c05f806437bd23326cd13858a4cff47403.jpg)

Drum breaks. Torpedo 3 speed.
There is a sticker on the fender for the bike shop that sold it originally so I contacted them through facebook and they responded saying they remember selling it to someone in the states @1980.
It goes down the road very nicely and gets lots of comments....
That's about all I know.
There are not many to be found on-line. I did find this one but it's not silver or chrome ;-) https://www.flickr.com/photos/ayc107...n/photostream/

I've long lusted after a chrome bike. There was a chrome bike thread- and someone said an all chrome bike is too much chrome. I laugh.
Every time a chrome Paramount P15 comes up for sale- I'm scheming some way of coming up with the money...
I do have a black chrome Schwinn High Sierra-

This bike is long gone, and is...errr...an homage to C & V - but it is the right color, I always liked it, and I haven't gotten to post any pics in this sub-forum for a while ![Innocent](images/smilies/innocent.gif)

I shared this bike on page on of this thread before it was powder coated. Now it's a different shade of silver.

Well, it is German. The Mars Exclusiv 3000. I was attracted to it because of the unique wheels, of course. They are made by Sachs and are very similar to the ones found on Puch mopeds of the same era.

It was pretty obviously a euro bike, but I thought maybe it was Dutch. That would have been a very unusual bike to roll around on in the states. Nice to hear at least a few made it over.
The striking thing to me is obviously the wheels. It's like they took Mongoose Motomag wheels, and made them light and suitable for a city/utility bike.

Everything shining silver except for the saddle, tires, brake pads, and bar tape. It's a good look.

I somehow forgot about my Motobecane when this thread popped up again for this month. For some reason I always think of this bike as more of a gold than silver, but it is definitely silver.

Late 80's lugged Trek 950 mt. bike,
originally a scratched up royal blue.
I asked powder coater to get as close to chrome as he could but he told me up front a shiny silver was how it would turn out.
I am pleased with the color .
