Yeah. When you’re filling out a form, come to the part that asks “Sex?” and you write “not very often”.

Or when you are told about it directly, as at our gym when a young woman told my wife and I, "You are the strongest ooooold people I've ever seen." Really drawing out that oooold. Yeah I guess we're old. Evidently look old, too. Almost everyone there is bigger than we are.
And maybe really old. because we're been using a printed "Day Ride" list for a couple decades. If we don't go down it just before we leave, we forget something for sure.
I also hate the "Sir". I tell them, "Don't call me Sir!" Creeps me out.

On the other hand, I prefer, “sir, yes sir!”

You should find them, clean them up and use them. The look on peoples' faces when they see this is
worth it. And,, I think they stimulate the brain. I could be wrong.
You know you are old when you go into Best Buy, and the kids in the blue shirts leave you alone.
You know you are old when a lovely young woman catches you looking, and you just don't care.

You know you are old when you can quote from several Monty Python movies and just get blank stares. “The parrot’s not dead, it’s sleeping!”
And after reading another thread…When you can’t keep up with the slowest paced group ride.

I’m old enough to know that you meant to type AFX Aurora, and probably older then you, as I have over 100’ of Aurora Model Motoring Stirling Moss HO slot car track, and cars. Model Motoring predated AFX, but we have some of those cars too. My son and I are still playing around with it.
Then I have a couple hundred well used 60s and early 70s vintage Matchbox cars. As well as a their BP petrol station, fire station and garage. Right now he is almost 4 and in the big Tonka truck stage of life.
and you know you are old when after dinner you need a nap or a cup of coffee, or both!

You are correct: AFX. That wasn’t even a subtle typo! I intend to give mine to my grandson when he hits 4th grade. I have about the same amount of track and about 15 vehicles.

You know you're getting old when your co-workers start saying, "You must be thinking of retiring soon."

When you start reading in the middle of a thread on BF and after reading several posts, realize you have already read them before. (If this happens more than once on the same thread - you are REALLY old).

You know you are old when you are slowly slogging up a long hill in granny low, huffing and puffing. Then you hear "on your left" and an old guy in a walker passes you!!!

You know you're getting old when you forget to do up your trousers after you've been to the toilet.

Next year I will probably get passed by a hiker, the year after then maybe the person with the walker.

And now I know I am old because running hurts my back for days so it isn’t worth it.
I also know I am getting old when my dad is turning 91 in August and my mom turns 90 in two days.
