Mo has been helping me with hand issue, and one of the things that might help would be new gloves. I went to dicks, and they carry Garneau products. Do you guys have any recommendations for gloves that would help with the nerves in the hands? The pair I am looking at are 30 dollars, reviews look good, but just wanted some feedback from you ladies and gents.

No clunks. Just can feel a little drag from brake rub. It could be the wheel flexing. Will try another QR and keep an eye on it. It’s a lower quality wheel that is 8 years old so I may just replace it with something better.

thats one of the things we have been discussing. It appears that I have been holding my bars “wrong”. Gripping the bottom of the hoods and putting all the pressure on my palms. I also seem to put more weight on my left hand. When I start out and I am not tired I focus on my form, but as I get tired it starts to slip.

If it's standard spokes you could get someone to put a tension meter on them.

I don't want to get in to the weeds, but these are horrible analogies.

how often do you use a fire extinguisher? I never have in almost 57 years of my life. I also never used an emergency brake (break) in an emergency. I also don't want to use my life insurance. All of these things are damn handy when you need them. That, I think is the point. You are free not to carry and the other guy is free to carry if he chooses.

There are a crap-load of NSAIDS out there. They are likely all roughly equivalent. But your question is akin to asking if the suggested saddle is a good one. You can try it and see how much it agrees with you or consider others to try.
It’s not that complicated. Sometimes we avoid NSAIDS if on steroids because slightly higher risk of stomach problems, but talk to the noctor about it.

I saw this and thought it might be helpful to Velo Vol.

I rode 34 miles this pre-winter evening and had zero flybys to stalk. Sad.

Yes, I get it. There are thousands of lots around here--each with its own lawn.

As regards your back wheel issue, it is unlikely, but possible that the end of the axle sticks out too far, thus reducing the effectiveness of the qr.

I was unfollowed by a local amazon, who commented on one of my pre-COVID, early season solos that she would have gladly gone with me, when I asked, a few weeks later, if she were riding that weekend.
