Here is my 2005 Jamis Quest. Jamis, the most overlooked and under rated manufacturer in the U.S. market.
Just picked it up today. Maiden voyage was on Logan Pass on the Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park! What an OUTSTANDING bike!
Chromoly frame, Easton EC-70 carbon fork, Shimano 105 group, Velomax Vista wheels, fi'zi:k Pave saddel, TruVative cranks, rear cassette is 12-23, chain rings are 30-42-52, and Hutchison Fusion 700c x 23 tires.
Jamis says, "This is the first 2005 Quest sold in North America."

My current roadbike is a mid 90s Specialized Epic.
The Epic frame from this era was built using aluminum lugs and Carbon Fiber Tubes. Lightweight for its time.
Component gruppo is Campagnolo Croce D'Aune 8 Speed with Delta Brakes. Finally Campagnolo Omicron Wheels in a 3x lacing pattern. Time CF straight blade fork has replaced the original factory Aluminum fork.

Time VX Special Pro (54), Dura Ace 12-25, American Classic 350, Deda Newton Bars, Cateye double wireless computer. Comes in at between 16.5 and 17 lbs, depending on which bathroom scale I use. 200 miles so far - fast and comfy, and no, I'm not worthy. Hope the picture works - my first time at this.

no photo, my last digicam ceased to function this summer, the bike is a Trek 500 Series road bike, I looked up the golden Trek emblum of the time it was used until 1983. My guess is it was made somewhere 1981-1983. It is running newer componets Shimano SIS componets, with brand new Bontrager hardcase (Kevlar) tires, Raliegh aluminum rims (probably as old but recently trued), brand new flat proofed tubes, Rock Werks clipless pedals (no I don't have the cleats yet) a Cateye rear light, I recently repainted the front forks a different shade of silver. The bike is all different shades of silver (three shades to be exact), and some black paint which I have tryed to cover up I do not know why the black paint was on it. It is a truely good bike now. I plan to do a few more touch ups and it will be done for now.
