The crabon handlebars I got off of sale arrived (from UK) today in such a carpy box that I’m ascared to put them on. I keep having flashes that it’s going to spontaneously assplode!
While I was at it, I also got the X-Tools version of the internal hose/wire routing kit for cheap. We’ll see how good they are the first time I get to use them..
Too much “color” (flash?) for my taste, but they were $86... #cheapskate .

My thoughts exactly, snow brings some excitement to the three long, dark months. And the shoveling is just another form of workout.

Montana?
Black bear?
That's a healthy distance from the bear. Dumb dumb tourists from Georgia and other such places get too close to bears in GSMNP.

I’m tempted to replace the brake cables while I change the handle bar, but I can’t bring myself to do it just for the vanity of having a huge 3” section of housing/cable hidden within the internal routing of the handlebars.
On another note, anyone recommend a nice handlebar tape to go with the crabon bars? Remember though, I’m a #cheapskate, so no fancy shmancy, double layered, multi colored tape for me.

Good news! The bike is ok and once I get the pedals I am good to go.

I heard about the brouhaha but never saw the ad. I don't watch much tv other than college football and I stream old TV shows.
