Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yes and no.

Her right cable stays in the groove flat but the left sags slightly. I had to go look because she's never complained.

My cervelo bars I have on my emonda do not have internal routing but has the same groves. When I had the shop wrap the bars I had asked to stop at the turn of the bar but they wrapped it across the flat part of the bar.

My plan when ever I get them wrapped again is to stop the tape where I want it and use to pieces of black electrical tape to hold the cables in place.

The Emonda SLR bar/stem has the grove under the bars, but not a means of going through the bars. I've been trying to find some to buy, and in doing so saw how the groove is on the bottom. I like the bars wrapped to just around the turn, but would not like the brake hose being loose underneath the bars. One thing I thought of is just using a drop of strategically placed superglue to hold the hoses tight to the bars.

Hot foot is getting worse. Started at mile 14 today. I’m at a loss of what to do.

Ordered a couple jerseys off Amazon. I would love to buy some fancy stuff but I have a hard time spending 140 dollars on one Jersey.

Anyways I read the reviews on sizing and everyone was adamant to size up. Of course now the jersey is too big. Not too big where I will return it, just big enough to be frustrating.

You could do that I guess, Strip of electrical tape won’t bother me, when I first wrapped it myself before the shop that’s what I did and it wasn’t even noticable.

Too small for the numbers.

I'm no expert, but I don't think it's a very good for the future if your area loses 7% of the kids.

It looks like, for all the extra time at home people had during the Pandemic, babymaking was distinctly less popular. May have to do with the feeling that the world was ending.

Our neighborhood Cooper's hawk likes blackbirds. He occasionally takes his lunch break in our yard.

I was sitting by the window one day, when a sudden movement really close caught my eye. A hawk flashed by the window, apparently catching something sparrow-sized, which it then carried up to the power line that runs across the yard. It started pulling feathers off it, which gently rained down on the ground underneath. I did NOT call Mrs. GJ to watch.

Familiarity breeds contempt, or perhaps familiarity makes people contemptuous of breeding.

Being stuck home with the kids 24/7 made people realize that more of them is not a desirable outcome.
