I personally think this build looks great and I'd give it a HOT. No points deducted from this judge. Although some will disagree, I acutally like how the gumwalls adds a touch of contrast from the monotony of the black and silver.

I call it hot both ways, my preference is the black. Subtle, clean.
Nice attention to detail on the staging, btw. I say water bottle cages are integral on an endurance road bike, and belong in the shot.

I'm not a fan of celeste either, but I worked on one of these bad boys once, and the matt finish looked awesome. Prolly doesn't look so great now though...

I remember when I saw my first non-celeste Bianchi. It was white, IIRC. I felt it was an abomination, a shameful sell-out, a pollution of the brand. I've softened that stance with age, but I still prefer celeste. At least a hint of it somewhere.

Still tinkering with this old thing... not sure if I've posted it with these wheels yet, just ditched the Red crank.
58cm 06 TCR Advanced LE, 2nd gen Red shifting (with 12/14t), billet ti/al 12/23, 9000 chain, 53/39 172.5, and front brake, 7400 rear brake, Jagwire Elite Link, Zipp 110/17, 40cm Aeronova copy, Tioga Spyder, Decadence 49mm tubulars, 23/25 Corsas.
6.35kg with pedals, cage and lights.
Yes I know it's a bitsa but it works sweet, the aesthetics of the Red bits are a good match for 9000, and one of these days I'll throw 9070 shifting at it anyway. Maybe wait till I can afford the 9170 levers, which look a fair bit better IMO

Almost looks like you should be on a size larger frame? There's a lot of seatpost and lot of spacers under that stem.

Fits good. I left the spacers stock for the time being. I can go 54 or 56. I prefer to size down @ 5'10" with a 32 inseam. I also run 165 cranks which raises the saddle a fare bit

My original intention/justification was that I could slam the spacers down, and add clip-ons for a TT/Tri ride. A more significant factor was that when I test-rode a 56, my thighs rubbed against the top tube. Old skinny steel tubes ftw.

Trying too hard, eh? I guess the bidon bolts don't really deserve a highlight, but beyond that, I've gotta continue to disagree with popular opinion on the red bits. I like bling.

When is a SMP, sexy? IMO, never!
Hot or Not Tip, if you ride SMP and wanna post your ride in the thread, switch it out with something that isn’t suffering from ED just for the pic.
IMO, jury is still out on the different depth wheels. I get their purpose but I’m pretty sure it ain’t this thread.
