What....next Saturday? Alan is headed to NC? He should know that WE are running a race that day. He's dead to me now.

Gotcha. Yeah, I'll certainly agree on their numbers. Typically, I gloss over things like that in company press releases (or what's essentially that) unless they're supported by strong evidence. I thought you were calling BS on the redesign, and such.

weirdest thing happened when i was riding my new tubulars. The skewer shaft is apparently threaded onto the cam, and somehow, it came off while riding. Really strange

I have had that happen to my J&L skewers. Green loctite fixes it.

J&L is the manufacturer. I didn't have anything go wrong, I just noticed that the skewer shaft would spin when I removed it from the wheel before swapping it out for my trainer skewer before a race. You'll find that most of the external cam skewers have threaded skewer rods.

Are you referring to NasCross? I am trying to get my wife to race it as half her team already does cross. We will be out there either way as she wants to cheer on her teammates if she doesn't race. (I can't race as I am still dealing with knee issues.)

Driving a rolling enigma today: Panamera Hybrid S, 4365 pounds, Zero to 60 5.7 seconds, 30mpg, base price $96,000.

If your paying over $100,000 (with options) for a car, does it really matte that you can get 6 mpg more on the highway?

However, I am having fun seeing how long I can drive it with the engine off.

Yep. She should race. Unless there's a downpour it will be an easy course. I'll be the short guy racing 3's in a black Revolution Cycles NC jersey. Come say hi or heckle me.

Any of y'all have issues with blackouts when you get up from sitting for a while? I've been experiencing this with increasing frequency recently. It's only vision, and every now and then, light-headedness/dizzynes. It seems to happen regardless of whether I've been eating or drinking recently. Never lasts long, just a few seconds, but it hits pretty strongly sometimes.

Today Junior:
1. Sat up by himself for the first time.
2. Crawled forward 4-5 steps for the first time.
3. Let me pick him up while keeping his arms bent, i.e. he was supporting his weight with his muscles vs his joints.

The last thing happened only once. The other two things happened multiple times.

*edit I forgot he also held the bottle himself.

Regularly, esp if my legs are bent, like if I'm kneeling (rkwaki comment here). I've always attributed it to low blood pressure. Nowadays I have to be more careful because sometimes I'm holding Junior when I stand up.

Yes all the time. Kensuf posted what it was a while back. You'll have to change your approach to standing up. Bite your tongue a little when you get up. I've stumbled into a few walls myself.

My resting heart rate at work is 40, mid 30's when I get up in the morning. Blood pressure is something like 90/65 so I black out a ton.

CDR I would never comment about you being on your knees :0
What kind of reputation do I have?
