Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, flu or a urinary tract infection will do that too. Hope she pulls through!

I’ve wondered about five times in the last three weeks. Whatever it is, hope it’s mild.

She did test positive for Covid. She's getting liquids and treatment but I haven't gotten an update recently.

My MIL had dementia and was prone to UTIs. We made a few trips to the hospital.

I am indebted to demented folks with assorted acute issues for teaching me a big chunk of what I know about internal medicine and neurology. Young @datlas probably feels the same way.

What is the name of that non-medicinal depression treatment you were involved with?

Transcranial magnetic stimulation. Mark George and I were the first to use it for that application.

Been doing some low-cadence, high resistance, workouts on the trainer and they’re increasing my strength, but causing piriformis syndrome. Quite the trade-off.

Drank a coffee and instantly felt better. I get caffeine head aches sometimes but this didn’t feel like that, I felt off and like I was getting ill.

Feeling fine now but my shoulders are super sore, like sore to the touch. I don’t know what that’s about. Hopefully it doesn’t get worse.

I might have to get me one of these, I always loved those multi pen pens, having one be a pencil also is next level awesome! This site claims it can handle .5 lead as well as .7, I hope that's true, although .7 only isn't a dealbreaker.

Movie Trailers? Harsh realm.

How about a music video to cheer you up. On this day in 1986 the Pet Shop Boys scored their first UK #1 hit with this number:
