Move to Holland. I can guarantee the total absence of anything bigger than a molehill.

Ya gotta ask the Girll!
Remember, I don't have the sasquatch (cojones) to ride that bike!
and insecure enough - to have NO desire for a pink bike.
(your exceptional pink bikes, nominally 60cm, exempted)

Bianchigirll - nice bike. If you don't mind me asking, what brand and model tires are on your bike? I have an '84 Alloro (Celeste) and am looking to change the tires back to white walls but am having trouble finding them. That original look with those tires is much better, imo. Sorry if this isn't the place to ask the question.
I took mine out on the streets of a pretty deserted Manhattan today - no pictures but they wouldn't have been very scenic anyway!

Aaaahhhhhhhhh, you mean Bianchigirll 's interpretation of the YBS bike. They are rare, And her specimen is good.
Firstly, = Welcome to C&V, as presented by BikeForums.
Enjoy your time here.
Emulating a YBS bike is hard to pull-off.
Takes chutzpah to finesse the deal. Lots of it.
Especially the bold black prominently presented ones.
(This may be Bianchigirll 's 2nd YBS??)
I have spotted (but not documented) them in Santa Cruz, CA and Portland, OR.
Kinda a "Keep Santa Cruz Weird" thang. Or Portland, too.

YBS bike? I don't think I ever heard of them. I just wanted to have something very specail and carry the colors into the components as much as I reasonably could. The jeweled bar plugs may be a bit over the top though.

When I turn 70, next one, I’m ordering a dozen - so nearly every bike has the ‘tude. But lacking conjones, I prefer smaller subtle ones in script, as viewed in Portlandia. Twill be mounted discreetly on the top tube, you get a better reaction from people who squint to read the ‘model’ or look closely to see the ‘signature’.
The Santa Cruz version was stickered-on-downtube motíf, quite artistically, as rust protector (?) on an overly patina’d (?) beach bike with attractive wooden surfboard rack . Major kudos to the .... cyclist?
Zorro, no images.

Banned.
I just ride what works for me. If it works, it stays. If not, it don't; that's the extent of my agenda regarding pretty much anything

I've just been hitting the same routes over and over again lately, but hadn't gotten a corn picture this year:

non-fixie thank you for your post yesterday; it has it all, bike pics, history, food. I love that stuff!
Today I did my birthday ride. Had to get an early start as we're looking at yet another day of humidity and mid to high 90's. I rode from my house along the Presidential route to the town of Scottsville, which sits on a hairpin bend in the James River. Only problem when you live in hill country and you make a river your turnaround point is you know it's pretty much uphill on the way back home. It was pleasant and fairly cool in the shade next to the river, so hard to leave but the longer I waited, the hotter it was getting... 55 miles, so I banked 3 miles credit for next year, 3700 feet climbing - flattish ride for around here.
Hwy 20 bridge from Scottsville into Buckingham County
James River bend
Bottom of the last 12% stinger for the day - thinking of a bike change ...

Happy birthday, Hugh! You seem to be catching up to me.
We’re in coastal Maine for a couple of weeks, and I brought my travel bike. Explored an off-road path for a bit:

Rode my Raleigh (1974 Super Course Mk II) in Gloucester County NJ today, still deliberating about possibly listing it for sale.
The third pic was taken in front of the CA Nothnagle Log House (circa 1638) in Gibbstown, oldest structure in NJ, said to be the oldest log cabin in the US.

I am doing mostly the same 15 -26 mile circuit. Tryin to find spots to post here. A bit difficult to find something to prop the bike. Showed the up river side of the Rappahannock so here is the down river side.

Warm summer night ride out to Kopachuck State Park near Arletta, WA. So romantic, a boy and his bike, alone on the beach, watching the sun go down...
And a shout out to Falcon3, that's your old Schwinn Voyageur on the beach with me. We will both be out in Colville, WA tomorrow and Saturday, if you want to join us a for a (not very long) ride in your 100 degree afternoon heat Or anyone else in the Kettle Falls - Colville - Chewela area.
